How can I take my writing to the advanced level?

CAE writing tips to prepare yourself and be certified as advanced
1. Read daily
If you want to reach a higher level. Reading will help you have a clear reference of how you should write in English. Pay special attention to the language, the vocabulary, and the different expressions that are used so that you can incorporate them into your writing.
2. Write frequently
Practice makes perfect. Even if you know the language very well, you aren’t immune to making mistakes. Perfect your writing skills by leaving your comments on a blog that interests you or by writing posts on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.
3. Learn to think in English
This will help you avoid making common mistakes such as writing sentences that are too literal or reversing the correct word order.
4. Chat in English
Chat with your teachers or native friends. It’s the best way to practice while having fun. They will be able to help you correct the mistakes you make so that you can move from B2 to C1.
5. Take advantage of the internet
Visit blogs, websites, or download apps like the one from ABA English, where you’ll find very useful articles and exercises that will help you perfect your writing skills.

What is the structure of the CAE writing test?
This section is divided into two CAE writing tasks. In the first task, you’ll have to read a text and write a composition based on the points it includes. In the second task, you’ll be able to choose between the different options – a letter or email/proposal/report or critique – and write a text.
What will students be expected to do?
According to the CEFR, p. 26, students are expected to have the ability to produce clear and well-structured texts about topics with a certain level of complexity, making appropriate use of the mechanisms of organization, articulation, and cohesion.
How much time will I have to complete this section?
You’ll have 1 hour and 30 minutes to write two well-structured texts about complex topics and with a length of 220 to 260 words.
